The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere, with clean rooms and a friendly staff. While the breakfast service was a bit chaotic due to a wedding party, the food was decent. the mattress was extremely firm and uncomfortable, which hindered a restful night’s sleep.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored a nearby historic castle and enjoyed some local park trails. The staff were super welcoming, and the bike storage was a nice touch. Breakfast was solid too. Just a heads-up, dinner is served in the bar area, which may feel a bit casual but the food was pretty good.
One downside was the need to navigate through busy conference areas to reach our room. It took away from the relaxation vibe we were hoping for.

I had a lovely time at this hotel, especially enjoyed the fantastic Christmas party atmosphere and the delicious festive food! The beds were super comfy, making for a great night's sleep. the confusion during breakfast check-in was a bit annoying. Would definitely come back for future events!

The Standard Double Room was a letdown. The mattress was squeaky and uneven, making it impossible to sleep well. Every little move made noise, which was super annoying. Ended up sleeping on the floor since there was only one duvet to share. Not what I expected for a weekend getaway. Tough on our backs too, which isn’t something I normally deal with on trips.

The pool and spa facilities were great, and I loved the adjoining rooms for family stays. Great vibe for parties, too!

Comfy bed, good location for nearby wedding, reliable leisure options
Noise from adjacent rooms made it hard to relax!!! Maintenance issues in the sauna and steam room present cleanliness concerns!!! The aging decor felt uninviting, and restaurant options were really limited!!! Improvement in communication about amenities is necessary!!!

I had a lovely stay for a wedding, enjoying the clean and comfy room along with a tasty breakfast that had plenty of options. The indoor swimming pool and the cozy bar area were perfect for unwinding after the festivities. Just a small thing, the lack of hot eggs on the second morning was a bummer, but overall, it was a great experience! 😊

Perfect for a brief solo escape
The staff was helpful, especially the lady on reception who had a Scottish accent- she really made me feel welcome when I arrived. The food at the bar was surprisingly good, I had the Fish and Chips that was cooked to perfection and paired it with a good French Cabernet Sauvignon, just made my night!
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but still fair for what I got.
